Do I have to stay at the resort?

We are requesting that everyone stay at the Riu Caribe. Any guests not staying at the resort will need a resort day pass to attend the wedding and have to coordinate their own transportation. If you'd like to make other arrangements, please reach out to Lee Webber (608)575-0741. Guests will need to book accommodations directly through our website under the "Book Now" tab. **IMPORTANT: Please Do Not book directly with the hotel. If you find a better price elsewhere, please contact guestservices@destify.com, and Destify will match the price.

How do I RSVP?

Please go to the "RSVP" tab at the top of the page. If you plan to attend, the actual rooms are not being blocked and we highly recommend RSVPing and booking your room at RIU Caribe through our website ASAP. If the rooms happen to get booked up, please reach out to Lee Webber at (608)575-0741.

What airport to fly into & how far is it to the hotel from the airport?

Cancun International Airport

Hotel Caribe is ~29' drive north from the airport

How do I get to/from the hotel?

When booking through Destify's website and confirming the booking, there will be "Transfer Options": 1. Shared shuttle, round trip and may stop at other resorts - $29. 2. Private shuttle, round trip - $134.40

How long should we plan to stay at the resort?

That is up to you! However, the current minimum night stay is 4 nights. We plan to be there for 5 nights, Wednesday (5/14/24) to Monday (5/19/24). Check our itinerary page for events!

What should I wear the day of the wedding?

The suggested dress code is beach semi-formal.

Where is the ceremony/reception?

Both are are the resort. The ceremony will be outside (weather pending) on the beach and the reception will be indoors at the Calypso Theater.

What will the weather be like?

During the month of May the average high temps are around 89 degrees and lows are 75 degrees. Cancun on average received 7 days of rainfall.
